1. Identify your goals. Write down exactly what you want in every area of your life - financial, physical, social, spiritual, emotional, and mental. Put them in 30-day, 90-day, 6-month, 1-year, and 5-year increments. The more detailed your plan is, the more likely you are to enact it. As you think of new items, add them to your list. 2. Be specific. Create a vivid picture in your mind of you reaching that goal. Make it so vivid that it feels real. Create a "dream board". Cut out pictures of your dream house, dream career, dream car, dream job, dream vacation. Paste them on your dream board. 3. Write down a specific date to start your goal and give it a deadline. Once you set your goal, focus on the daily disciplines of what it will take to achieve success. 4. Review your goals every morning and every night. Keep them where you can see them. Write them on the bathroom mirror, post them on the refrigerator, keep a copy in your car. Keep yourself constantly, repeatedly focused on your destination. 5. List any obstacles you might have to overcome that would keep you from achieving your goals. By idenitfying your obstacles, you can prevent them from occurring. 6. Make a list of the skills or knowledge you need to achieve your goal. Do you have them already? Do you need to learn new skills to put you on the right path? Make a plan to acquire the skills or knowledge you need. 7. Take action immediately on the most important thing you want to achieve. This is very important! Learn

The more you write and rewrite your goals and the more you think about them, the clearer you will become about them. The clearer you are about what you want, the more likely you are to do more and more of the things that are consistent with achieving them. Meanwhile, you will do fewer and fewer of the things that don't help to get the things you really want.
